Celebrating a Decade of Tiv Culture

The Kyegh Sha Shwa Festival is an annual cultural celebration that showcases the rich heritage and traditions of the Tiv people. Since 2015, the festival has brought together Tiv communities from across Nigeria and the diaspora to celebrate their shared identity and cultural values.

Through music, dance, art, cuisine, and various cultural exhibitions, the festival serves as a platform for cultural preservation, education, and intergenerational knowledge transfer. It also promotes tourism and economic development in Tiv communities.
